How to Play
Overview
Lexikon is a turn-based word game for two players. Take turns placing letter tiles on a 15x15 board to form words. Score points based on tile values and premium square bonuses. The player with the highest score when the game ends wins.
The Board
The board is a 15x15 grid containing premium squares that multiply your score. The center square (marked with a star) must be covered by the first word.
Tile Values
Each letter has a point value. Rarer letters are worth more. There are 104 tiles in total, including 2 blank tiles worth 0 points.
Scoring
- Add up the values of all tiles in each new word formed.
- Apply letter multipliers (DL, TL) before word multipliers (DW, TW).
- Premium squares only count on the turn the tile is placed.
- If you form multiple words in one turn, all are scored.
- Using all 7 tiles in one turn earns a 35-point bonus.
Turn Options
- Play: Place one or more tiles on the board to form a valid word.
- Swap: Exchange one or more tiles for new ones from the bag (requires 7+ tiles in bag). Ends your turn.
- Pass: Skip your turn without playing or swapping tiles.
- Resign: Forfeit the game. Your opponent wins immediately.
Power-Ups
Power-ups can be purchased from the Market with credits. Each can be used once per game.
